FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

First Holy Communion is normally celebrated at around the age of eight. For the children who attend our local Catholic primary school, St Dominic’s, preparation is undertaken during the course of the school day and is led by our teachers.

For those children who attend other schools, Canon Tom asks the parents to prepare their children following materials provided. He will meet with the parents involved. Please contact him with any questions.

First Holy Communion is normally celebrated on the last Sunday of May at 1 pm.

If you are an adult and haven’t yet celebrated Holy Communion, please contact Canon Tom and see the piece on baptism and confirmation for adults.
