Candlemas

Last Sunday, we celebrated our Candlemas Children's Mass.A Feast day where we were reminded that Jesus is the Light of the world. It was a beautiful service which traditionally began with a candelit procession and the blessing of candles for household use. A joyful conclusion to the Christmas season.

Well done to our children who led us in the procession. Thanks to the fabulous music group who sang and played beautifully.Thanks to everyone who helped with our Candlemas Children's Mass.

If Candlemas Day be fair and bright, Winter will have another flight; But if it be dark with clouds and rain, Winter is gone, and will not come again.
