Care Not Killing Scotland – promoting palliative care – opposing euthanasia and assisted suicide

Please avail yourself of the facts. Many of us (including me) have sat by the bedside of a loved one dying. It is easy to be swept away by the emotional arguments and difficult cases. Alas, we are all too easily influenced by them. This bill will not address those difficulties but lead to a very dangerous situation for vulnerable people. Furthermore, reports about the cost saving to the NHS and other agencies are doing the rounds behind the scenes. Kathleen Stock writing in the Sunday Times this week has warned of this development.

We have to find another way.
