Net Ministries’ Retreat Days for Young People

As Canon Tom has mentioned (and to individuals), Net Ministries are conducting a retreat for young people on Saturday 14th May and Sunday 15th May. The age group is roughly those who attend Secondary School.

They are also leading a confirmation retreat for St Dominic’s on Tuesday 3rd May. Please encourage our young folk to take an interest.

Would anyone be able/willing to accommodate a young person from Net Ministries on the weekend of the 14th/15th May?

Looking ahead, we have a very busy year before us.

We celebrate confirmations on 25th May. Chris McCrosson will be ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on the 28th of May. We have our First Communions on Sunday 5th June. Our first summer fete since 2019 will take place on the 11th of June. We have a parish mission at the beginning of October, and our 150 years’ celebration of the blessing of the present St Fillan’s Church on 1st November…and that’s just for starters!

Please pray for peace in Ukraine, for all those affected by Covid19, and

the repose of the souls of John Conaboy, and all the faithful departed.
