Mass times as usual


5.30 pm Saturday Vigil St Fillan’s

9.30 am St Margaret’s

11 am St Fillan’s


Daily Masses May until end of September (unless otherwise indicated)

Monday 7 pm

Tuesday-Friday 9.30 am


This Tuesday, we shall be joined by P6 and P7 and the team from NET Ministries

who will lead our young people in a confirmation retreat.


Facebook Live Service 7.30 pm straight after evening Mass.

Theme – Mary in the Scriptures.


Next Sunday 8th May is our Children’s Mass at 11 am followed by our May Procession (if poor weather the crowning will be of our statue inside the church).

Our theme for the Mass is ‘Jesus, our Shepherd,’


Net Ministries’ Retreat Day for Young People on Sunday 15th May in St Mary’s, Forebank, Dundee. The age group is secondary school. Please register TODAY.


Signing up to read in St Fillan’s: please put your name down on the readers’ rota. Canon Tom invites all those interested in reading and all those who currently read to an evening of sharing and input on Tuesday 17th May at 7 pm. Tea and cake provided!


PPC Meeting: thanks to all who came. Canon Tom has accepted a recommendation from the Hall Committee and the PPC to ask Mark Chalmers of ‘Space, Consultancy and Design’ to conduct a feasibility study into the refurbishment of St Fillan’s Memorial Hall. This will be subject to approval by the Diocesan Fabric and Planning Board.


We are very much looking forward to Chris McCrosson’s Diaconate Ordination on Saturday 28th May at 12 Noon in the Cathedral. If you are interested in going, could you please put your name down on the sheet provided, so we can order a bus. Chris will have expenses as a Deacon, and Canon Tom proposes a collection for Chris in the next couple of weeks.


There will be a Songs of Praise’ in Crieff Parish Church, St Michael’s Building on Sunday 5th June at 6 pm. All welcome.


Please pray for peace in Ukraine, for all those affected by Covid19, and the repose of the souls of Canon Michael Milton, and all the faithful departed.
