Lent 2022
Daily Masses as normal
Mondays Facebook Live service 7.30 pm ‘To be a Pilgrim’
The Church is a ‘community composed of people united in Christ who are directed by the Holy Spirit in their pilgrimage towards the Father’s Kingdom and who have received the message of salvation to be communicated to everyone.’ (Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the World).
Time and again, we refer to ourselves as pilgrims, a pilgrim people, fellow journeyers with our brothers and sisters throughout the world. What does it mean to be a pilgrim? In this Lenten series, Canon Tom will explore how Lent and the focus it gives us helps us to understand what it is to be a companion of Jesus on the way to the Kingdom
The theme of the Fourth Evening is ‘The consequences of Forgiveness’
As we develop the series, Canon Tom will be guided by responses and ideas from participants. The reflections will take place on Facebook and then be available from our website. Blogs and reflections will accompany the services.
