Sacrament of Penance

Canon Tom will be available in the church at 5 pm on Saturdays

Advent Penitential Service

Please come along if you can to our Penitential Service on Tuesday 7th December at 6 pm. Several confessors will be available.

Getting together

After Mass today in St Margaret’s, there will be a cup of tea or coffee. Please join us if you can.

After Mass in St Fillan’s, there will be a wee drink, soft or otherwise, to celebrate St Andrew.

‘Companions on the Journey’ - A Synodal Church

The Diocese will be in touch with a way in which we can feed back through the diocese to the wider Church as a parish, groups, and individuals.

To prepare us for that and to celebrate the Season of Advent we shall listen to the Word of God on the following nights in person

Wednesday 1st December 7 pm Wednesday 15th December 7 pm in the Hall

Canon Tom’s Installation

Canon Tom will be installed as a Canon of the Cathedral Chapter during a mass at 1 pm on St Andrew’s Day, Tuesday 30th November, in St Andrew’s Cathedral, Dundee. All welcome.

Please read the letter form the Bishops’ Conference on Christmas and the restoration of the Sunday Obligation.

It is on our website and there is a link from our Facebook page. It will be read out at the masses and hard copies will be available.

Christmas Services

Our Christmas Masses will be celebrated on the following dates and times:

Christmas Eve

4 pm Vigil Mass for Children and Young Families, St Fillan’s

9 pm Vigil Mass, St Fillan’s

Christmas Day

9.30 am St Margaret’s

11 am St Fillan’s

Please note there will be NO 5.30 pm Vigil Mass for the Sunday. The Sunday morning masses will be as normal.

New Year Falls in a Sunday, so the Sunday Masses will be as normal including the Vigil

Please pray for

the repose of the souls of Martyn Prothero, Paula Tabourel, and all the faithful departed.
